ORLANDO, FL — Starwood Vacation Ownership (SVO) today signed an agreement with VOC Systems to provide its ExpressWayTM service for an undisclosed number of Westin and Sheraton resort properties. The decision comes as results from other properties indicate significant improvements across a variety of guest satisfaction metrics as well as reduced costs resulting from fewer guests with problems and greater employee accountability in delivering outstanding guest experiences. Personal accounts from property managers have surprised and delighted management. “I will never again run a hotel operation without VOC,” said Jorg Heyer, General Manager, Sheraton Vistana Villages. Another SVO General Manager, Glen Vlasic, of the Sheraton Vistana Resort said, “ Your system has quickly moved from amenity to necessity; we’re celebrating record survey scores, reduced comp expenses and enhanced associate coaching and recognition.”
“We are excited for the opportunity SVO has given us to provide them with mid-experience guest insights at some of the Southeast’s largest premier properties. Because our mid-stay information impacts hotel operations across multiple functions at all levels, it can have a profound influence on culture, guest behavior, competitive advantage and profits,” stated Brad Kesel, CEO, VOC Systems. “We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Starwood.”
